Justice 4 Case - Unlawful Arrest

“Unlawful arrest leads to wrongful conviction”

            Before you read what’s below let me give you a little introduction and food for thought…

What if you were outside talking amongst friends or coming out of a super market and you’re approached by a man from behind claiming to be a police officer, he has no ID, no badge, no hand cuffs and no radio, he doesn’t call you by your name but proceeds to tell you that he has warrants for your arrest and that he is off duty but has police staged up the road and needs you to keep the noise down so not to disturb anyone and to come with him, at that very moment he takes both his hands and grabs your arm and jerks you to him saying you know you’re under arrest, don’t resist! What would you do?

My name is Christopher J. Case. April 1, 2012 I was outside my residence, speaking with my employer, when a man walked up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder and said “do you remember me?” I then said “No. I don’t know who the hell you are! “and turned back around, he then tapped me again and said, “I’m Detective Wade from the Hopewell Police Department can I talk to you over here for a minute?”

I saw he was jeans and a Dallas Cowboys’ t-shirt with no badge, no hand cuffs and no radio, so I said yeah. We get to the back of my employer’s truck and he never calls me by my name but tells me he has warrants for my arrest and I said I have warrants? He said yes their not that serious you “probably” just missed a court date or something that I needed to keep everything low profile; so not to disturb the neighbors and he would take care of this. I then said do you have a badge or something and he said no I’m off-duty but I do have police staged up the road and out of site and at that very moment he takes both his hands and grabs my right arm and jerks me to him saying “you know your under arrest, don’t resist!” He is now jerking and dragging me to the main road as I fight to get free from his hold we reach the top of the road where there are no police staged as a last resort I grab my clip on pocket knife and struggle to open it. I then poked at him several times he finally let go.  I ran about 10 yards and stopped to turn around so I could see where my assailant was and to my surprise he was standing where I left him, as we made eye contact  and still no police in site, you know the ones he allegedly had staged! Well he darts back at me and tackles me to the ground and we continue to wrestle around minutes later a single police officer shows up gets out of his car draws his gun instructs us to ‘freeze’ it was then I would find out Wade was an actual off duty police officer as they tortured me ‘til other police showed up to cuff me.

I was charged with Resisting Arrest, Attempted Capital Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer, Malicious Wounding of a Law Enforcement Officer and Obstruction of Justice in the Commission of a violent felony. Oh and get this the alleged misdemeanor charge that I was on some top 10 most wanted poster for that all this was over was a trespassing charge that not only carried a $100 fine and 30 days in jail but get this 3 months prior to this incident the charge had to be dropped because the arresting officer got caught and fired for exposing his self to ids on a school playground.

So, I’m a 41-year-old man serving a 31-year prison sentence because a off-duty officer made bad choice to make an arrest with no id, no badge, no cuffs and no radio oh and he also didn’t frisk me down.  There is so much more to this story. If there is anyone out there that can find it in their heart to donate money to a great legal cause please help me reverse this nightmare and get the justice I deserve lawyers don’t be shy to include your insight on this matter.

Thank you for all your time reading this and for whatever contribution you may contribute to this much needed struggle for justice.

I make no complaints....No hago quejas....

What is a complaint? Well, let's start out what it is not. Describing your situation, as is and truthfully without embellishment or underplaying the details; yet, getting honest and telling the details to the right people who really need to know. Once done, then make a plan to make changes, hopefully for improvement; and move on. Do it. "Just do it," they say.

Now, a complaint ... is pretty much saying the same thing over and over and making no changes; therefore, it becomes a nagging, almost OCD problem. Yes, it is a problem because it can make you stuck in a place much longer than need be.

Contact me if you need to move on. MOI - Life Coaching and Advocacy Skills can get you through your hump. Email: fido3inrecovery@yahoo.com or 434-219-9034 ReGina (hablo Ingles y Espanol).

One day at a time - Mixed emotions

There was a day that I would've been so upset that I could not focus on the next thing to do. Reprioritizing, one thing at a time, keep it simple, self-care, balance, and be not afraid to face our debtors are all great tools for me to use even when I am unable to identify the emotions I go through when in an occupied space such as now. My plate is full and I feel calm but somewhat upset at times. The anxiety levels are better under control because I know it is possible to be in panic mode but by the Grace of God and faith in God I'm calm. I'm sad. I'm happy and blessed. I'm appreciative of many people that step up when you are really in need. To tell me the truth and to offer help to solve the problem is fantastic friendship. Thank you guys for your support. Make sure you keep support in your recovery because if I am not working on my recovery then I am working on my relapse - and I don't want to go there....for sure!!!!

Just updating things

have been more emotionally motivated to organize the house, our work, and family life altogether.
as I stay further and further away from those who try to 'push themselves' on me with their chaos;
the more and more I am more open minded to focus on good things I can do to help others.

Thanks for the support - Gracias por apoyo.

At times I may have to post strong, sensitive, and or taboo subjects for FB. It may get a variety of feel from many different folks; yet, that is why I come to FB for certain research and opinions. I have a variety of views because of the variety of people in my life. I love diversity. Most people appreciate me for that. Well, once again I am having some recourse about a strong topic- Churches going through Changes. I find this a very positive go ahead because first of all people want change but when it actually presents itself with doable actions they get a little squirmy and some maybe even scared. No need to be either if your faith is strong. God will not bring us to it if God was not planning to get us through it, right? We simply must revert back to our simple, original, and core values when time comes and those that challenge these are normally those who need to be let go....to be free to run their own life without me anywhere in their path. Yes, for those who know me I have to be in a cleansing mode at this point until (God) lets me know that I've done enough cleansing for now. So, if you want to stay in my life and on FB with me please enter yes or no if you have read this far. This is two sided so I have to be willing to accept that some people may want me out of their lives. This is the circle of life guys; lets make ourselves prosperous by reorganizing, reprioritizing, and organizing our energies in a way that's best for us all. With lots and lots of love and understanding,

Doing Fine - Haciendo bellas

The family is transitioning well with the move; however, some of the physical work has been really hard on us. Faith and prayers will continue to help us have physical and emotional strength to move on. Thanks for all the support.

La familia está en transición con el movimiento; Sin embargo, algunos de los trabajos físicos ha sido muy duro para nosotros. Fe y oraciones continuarán nos ayude a tener fuerza física y emocional para seguir adelante. Gracias por todo el apoyo.

Heaven on Earth

Pray and believe I will receive;
just as many beliefs may say.
As long as I stay within my faith
and favorable answers come my way.

My family and I decided to look for a healthier house to live in. May be not as exclusive but healthier. Mixed emotions flying all over the place, including the child in all the processes, and praying that if this move is truly God's will for us in the long run; we are now ready for the fun.

All has fallen into place as if its been in my face; the entire time that I've claimed its mine.
God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

Thank you God for letting me know what heaven on earth feels like!

Willing

Am I/are we willing?  A question I’ve been asking myself lately and one I’d like us to explore together.  Whenever I come upon contemplation such as this, I begin by researching and defining the word/principle and then calling forth information on the subject from the knowingness inside me.  Willing, as defined by Merriam-Webster’s Colligate Dictionary is, 1. Inclined or favorably disposed in mind – ready, i.e., willing and eager to help, 2. Prompt to act or respond, i.e., lending a willing hand, 3. Done, borne, or accepted by choice or without reluctance, i.e., a willing sacrifice, 4. Of or relating to the will or power of choosing: volitional.  With this in mind, are we willing to...?

1.      let God guide, guard, govern and direct our thoughts and thinking, actions and reactions;

2.       be healthy in body, mind, and spirit;

3.       live our best life;

4.       call forth what we desire in our life by asking the Creator who created creation and created us for what we want;

5.       accept that we are worthy just because;

6.       a) believe there is only one Everlasting Power and this everlasting power is good and everywhere present, b) as spiritual beings, living in a spiritual universe, governed by spiritual laws, we are created in the image and likeness of this Everlasting Power, c) as spiritual beings we have the power of creativity within us and our thinking activates the creative process, d) affirm our good and the truth we are learning and deny the human condition or physical appearance of things have any power over us to keep or block our good from us, e) apply the principles of prayer and meditation daily;

7.       give ourselves permission to be joyful and happy

8.       have a continuous cash flow and pay our bills on time, eat healthier, exercise, drink plenty of water, get sufficient sleep and rest;

9.        stop gossiping, complaining, criticizing and start honoring;

10.    see through the eyes of love;

11.    ask for help when we need it;

12.    De-clutter, clean-up, clear-out and let go of those things that no longer serve us – even if those   things are thoughts of lack and limitations, superiority or inferiority, we let them go;

13.    look for the good and keep a gratitude journal;

14.    love ourselves enough that we walk by faith and not by sight trusting that the universe is set-up   to support us;

15.    go forth and prosper;

16.    consider, life is for living, God/Source/Creative Intelligence is real and excuses for living a mediocre life is just that – excuses, and excuses don’t count;

17.    move beyond the tears, the aches, the pains, stand and affirm, declare and decree, in the words of Louise Hay…

I am willing to change and grow.

I am willing to release the need for this condition.

Thank you for your willingness in doing the work.  Remember, it’s the practical application of the teachings of Jesus, the Christ that we are here to implement.  Let’s begin now, practicing the principals we’re learning. Thank You, Sweet Spirit.  Thank you.  Thank You.  Thank You.  Amen.

You never know who you meet and where you may meet them...

A few years back I attended a wonderfully, community involved church. The pastor was a retired motorcycle rider (he still had his Harley and leathers). His wife was supportive of all his efforts and support of the attempts of each department of the church (bells, music, liturgical dance, community outreach kids programs, bible study circles, and discipleship program.) I grew a lot with this particular church family. I grew to know that giving my time and me just being there was very helpful. Yes, the monetary donations helped but the personal touch and love given within all the participants really is what touched the community. The pastor just one day decided to dress in dirty, holey jeans, mangled shirt, and a big sun hat. He sat on the front step of the church while the members and guests entered the church. They had to pass him in some form. Some people stopped and asked if he needed help or if he would like to join them and more passed him by. When time started for the church service; he rose slowly and meandered through the crowd up to the pulpit. Still at this point no one had a clue who was in these tethered clothes. When he raised his face up to see everyone and for everyone to see him there was a sound of awe then a quick silence and an unexplained interest in the air of the congregants. Now, the moral of this story is you never know who you meet and where you may meet them .. . just something to think about!

Tonight I go to a training party a city over. I recognize a lady. I not only recognize her I never met her before. It was her mother I grew up with. After all the introductions and encouragement to enjoy the teaching for the night, I gave her my contact information and reminded her of how I know her. She passed as a her mother's twin. They know the ex-wife of my new husband; but there were no animosities. We were all there to learn how to be better people and mainly ourselves. It was wonderful to meet this young lady and I pray for her growth in personal, spiritual, and financial life. If you ever read this, I want you to know you are a beautiful soul and expression of God - just as you are. I will be honored to take Nerium sharecations with you and your friends.

I'm excited about all of us prospering together. God bless.

Book of the week - Revisit to "Less: Accomplishing more by doing less" by Marc Lesser

A book to help me organize myself in many areas of my life. I am tired of carrying the weight around my waist, the burdens on my shoulders, and the  mess in my house. I am healthy and have reasonable weight for my own body, I am excited about the responsibilities I have, and my house is tidy and organized.

This is my practice while I read this book. Please add your comments below. Would love different ideas.

Nerium and Team Work

rmason.nerium.com is a portal for more than a great product but a happier, healthier and improved lifestyle. Just three months into it I find myself moving up the social ladder. Although I believe no one is better than anyone else; I must be responsible for me and my family's improving lifestyle.

rmason.nerium.com provides tools for a better me. Want to make money just by living your life? It takes a person that is willing to be creative in their working habits; understanding the traditional working status, and remembering those long hours, aching back, sore feet, and tiredness for just the hourly amount; and a 'why' to want to make this change in industry and addition to career.

We often become our titles when we are professionals. Who are you without these labels. Ok, we put ourselves through college so we can help others. Who am I if I drop my professional labels? This is a question that most of us are only confronted with when the situation is disrupted by outside stimuli.

Team Work is not only helpful, constructive, supportive, and sometimes even challenging. Without it many people flounder around like a fish out of the water. If one person of the team is not pulling as much weight and responsibility as the rest do we just do their part and not hold them accountable? Or do we turn inward and find out what it really is that is allowing this particular team member to be lacks in their share of the creativity? Instead of looking at it as a deliberate act of laziness maybe there is a real need for them needing the support of the entire team in a way that each and every team member may need at other specific times.

So, we pull together and make a collective decision whether or not an intervention of concern lays in our responsibility as team members. And please for God's sake, do not forget the one in supposed need. If the group makes a decision to be 'extra' supportive at a time that maybe, just maybe, the team member simply needs a slight breather from the collective (some people call this 'me time') in order to portray compassion and genuine concern the team must ask if this intervention of concern is actually necessary.

Nerium and Team Work = support, love for the other team members' success, and profits (not paycheck). God bless and stay in tune with yourself...ReGina Mason, Author, Certified Life Coach, Advocate, and Interpreter.
